Biography:

Dr. Richard Hines is the Medical Director for all research departments listed below

• Pediatrics, Stevensville and Niles
• Adult, Stevensville, Bridgman, Niles
• OB/GYN St Joseph and Niles
• Lakeland, St Joseph

Born in Chicago, Dr. Hines was raised in Berrien Springs, Michigan.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Texas Technological University.  He then studied at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine for his Medical Degree.  His pediatrics residency was at the Michigan State University Affiliated Hospitals from 1987 to 1990. Dr. Hines is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.  He is on staff at Lakeland Medical Center-St. Joseph, and is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Dr. Hines joined Southwestern Medical Clinic in 1990.

Dr. Hines enjoys traveling to Greece (his favorite place for rest and relaxation) and listening to music.  He and his  wife, Rosalie, live in Berrien Springs.
