Berrien Springs, MI — June 25, 2007 — Southwestern Medical Clinic participated once again in Relay for Life.  The theme this year was Relay in Paradise.  The clinic's goal was to raise $2,000 for cancer research.  The goal was met and exceeded!!!  The event overall raised almost half a million dollars ($482,000).  Employees of the clinic raised the money primarily from Blue Jean Days, Drawings and Bake Sales.  Next year's theme is Relay Rocks "Rockin' for a cure".  Southwestern has raised it's goal to $3,000 for next year.  Plans are in place for next year's Relay for Life and fundraising events have already started.

Southwestern Medical Clinic strives to serve the community and help the community in fundraising events for such a worthy cause.  Thanks to all who participated and especially those who coordinated the event.  Great Job!!!
